This is really what gets me about most of the Giant Bomb hires (being a CBS corporation company):
Jeff hires (and keeps) people with zero charisma. They aren't really journalists, so quality of writing isn't what matters as much. Presentation. Presentation matters most, now. They need to look good, feel good, present well. Be funny! Multitask while playing the game! Make relevant comments and be GOOD at the game you're playing, while playing it! With guests, interact well!

Jeff and Vinny are really the only good ones that fill that. Dan is pretty good in reality, but his anxiety disorder can cause him to stay out of the conversation or inhibit interaction on bad days. Brad and Alex support well, but are terrible on their own (especially Brad when it comes to games). Rorie is obviously touched in the head. Jason is a try-hard poser and a creep-borderline-psycho. New girl what's-her-face is generic and is just the soundgirl anyway. Ben has no charisma. Ryan is dead, Patrick (for as much as people didn't like his views) left, Blackboy left after like a year, and Drew is gone.
