Am hype, just afraid of weapon balancing, as in making the "fun" guns usable not talking about pvp bcu i dont want to cause a shit storm.

I really just want he last three subclasses to be really fun, the flaming angel and captain America both look really fun but the returning subclasses don't. I'm ditching Warlock for Titan if the Arc subclass for Warlock is boring because so far at least Striker looks different, Voidwalker looks exactly the same.

I wanted to be hype for it but the gameplay just looked like destiny 1.5 to me, so much recycled shit from the first game, almost all the animations are old. It sets a precedent for the rest of the game.

from what we have seen, it doesn't look like they changed anything. I was so happy when they said they would wipe characters, but they don't seem to have taken advantage of it at all.

Looks like it's going to be far worse, but more polished than 1. They have stripped all of the RPG systems from the game for their shitty PVP.

Getting to choose from two bundles of four skills is not a skill tree, and using how lack lustre d1s skill tree as an argument for removing them all together is a non argument. Even fucking gearbox was capable of improving skill trees from borderlands 1 to 2.

I was really hyped for it, but the gameplay presentation kinda killed it for me too.

I was mostly disappointed in the fact that you can only have 4vs4 in multiplayer...... In every single game mode.....
And they were fucking announcing it like it was a huge new addition to the game! "Hey guys!! We're removing options for the game! How awesome is that!!!???"
That's kinda how it came across to me. I like bigger team fights in multiplayer, so the fact that you can only have 4vs4 in every fucking gametype really disappointed me. To the point where I probably won't play the versus mode at all.

I was expecting it to look a lot better too. It basically looks exactly the same. I honestly can't even tell difference.

I'm still going to get it on pc and play coop with my friends and family. I'll have a good time, but for now it looks like it's going to be another 6,5 or 7 game at best.

Used to love Bungie, but and the upgrades they made to the game with every expansion to Destiny 1 was great. They kept moving in the right direction and it seemed like Destiny 2 was going to be sick... but the gameplay presentation let me down big time

I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm worried about the subclass skill trees, and while I can understand why they're moving shotguns, sniper rifles, and fusion rifles to the heavy slot, it just annoys the shit out of me that bungie can't balance weapons and instead just got all their broken shit and shoved it into one slot so it minimizes the damage it'll do to PvP.
As for graphics, I wasn't expecting a whole lot since I'm betting they spent their time remaking everything under the hood, and I'd rather them fix what's broken and leave everything that was good about the game intact.

I'm big halo fan, and that angel class looks fucking cool.
I enjoyed the first destiny on my 360. Didn't buy a console this generation, so looking forward to playing on PC.
Plus it's in battle.net which, after steams fall from grace, is the only DRM launcher that just werks.

It seems like things are getting simplified and homogenized a lot and that kinda bothers me, but I can see the benefit of it as well, I guess. Like in Destiny 1, there's a ton of garbage perks you would just never, ever use. I don't think anybody ever used anything besides Flame Shield for Sunsinger. And some of the new perks look cool, like Gunslinger, they have some perks centered around precision hits with Golden Gun now, that's really cool.

I think the game will be really good and really fun, but it'll lose just a little bit of the crazy spark Destiny 1 had. Granted, that crazy spark led to shit like infinitely skating Titans with Juggernaut, Twilight Garrison and Universal Remote, which necessitated all of those things get nerfed into the ground, making them not fun anymore. So. I can see both sides, here.

I was hoping it was going to be a borderlands 1 to borderlands 2 kind of deal where everything gets fleshed out and improved on. Instead it looks like they are just gutting the RPG stuff so the fucking crucible shit is more balanced, instead of just balancing them separately like a sane developer would. Maybe I'll get it on sale.
