I always imagined that it was a mix of strawberry and cough syrup

I always imagine that health potions are thick in texture and have a fairly acidic taste, whereas mana potions are very thin in texture and have a bitter taste.

Potions are a necessary evil, not a sweet cherry cough syrup treat.
