My emulation knowledge doesn't go beyond ps1 but I'm pretty sure that's not how it works, but honestly I could be wrong.

I haven't attempted PS2 emulation because from what I hear the emulators for it aren't that stable at this point. My suggestion is just wait till you find a much better deal on a ps2 or just play the PC versions (pirate them).
