PotD is a catch-up dungeon filled with trash mobs that die to a wet fart. It doesn't get remotely dangerous until you start approaching floor 100, and doesn't get ACTUALLY dangerous until you're above floor 150.

The horror stories are for levelling classes (jobs) other than your main. You can casually level your job by playing through the main story, with a visit to the occasional FATE (think dynamic events from GW2) or dungeon to bridge the gaps that are there. Take a couple of days off and come ba k refreshed, you're so close to the end now! Then you just have to gear up a bit. I'd say aim for ilvl 260. The dungeon stuff in SB for level 63 or 64 is ilvl 270. So we can expect that current i270 bis gear will be phased out around mid way to level 70.

This post is NOT intended as trolling or bait or anything like that: I'm a longtime dps player and feel like it's finally time to play a tank. Can someone give me the pros and cons of each tank (with stormblood in mind). I care more about how they play, how fun they are etc rather than them being the bleeding edge of the meta, since I'm only a casual player who seldom raids.

I'd also like something that doesn't require a million keybinds, I get enough of that on my DRG.

Servers go down for 24 hours prior to early access starting. During the downtime, the patcher gets updated. Which allows you to begin downloading Stormblood. After the 24 hours pass, the servers go back up and everyone can enjoy Stormblood. Depends on your play style. PLD is the go to for mitigating massive amounts of damage and with 4.0 they've gotten a massive buff to their abilities. With that said, I personally find them boring as shit to play as. I used to main pld and switched to WAR, which is a way more hands on and aggressive approach to tanking. If you like dishing out massive dps and tanking, then this is what you'd want. DRK is my second choice, with dps closely following warrior. They're a bit more complex with mana management, but pretty fun to play as.

After stormblood hits all the jobs are being rebalanced (even for people who don't own SB).

Once that happens all tanks will have roughly the same complexity in terms of playing well. DRK might be a little more complex because it has to manage both mana and blackblood but that might end up being a non-issue with Delirium being an oGCD that gives you mana and extends Blood Price/Weapon
