Which was the bigger failure?
>>378838317
the one that sold less
One lacked a proper Metroid
The other lacked a proper Ape Escape
Hard to tell
Wii U. At least Vita had good Japanese support.
I have both.
Probably WiiU, vita was more comfy and had more games.

Failed abortion called you

The Wii U sold less but Nintendo is still making consoles.
Meanwhile the Vita killed Sony entire handheld segment.
>>378838829
And the Wii u killed nintendos console business.
Between the two vita sold more and still gets games today. Wii u is bigger failure
>>378838317
Vita.
Nintendo supported the Wii U until the end while Sony dropped out early on.

>And the Wii u killed nintendos console business.
Which is why they just released a new home console.
>>378838317
Literally the best two consoles of 8th gen.
>>378838317
Vita sold more, but I think it lost Sony more money. Vita's still getting games made for it, unlike Wii U. But it made Sony say "there will be no Playstation Vita 2."
So I think it depends on how you define "success" and "failure." Vita was more damaging to its developer, but it did a lot better with attracting third-party developers and developing a niche.

>there will be no Playstation Vita 2

So he's not joking I see.

Is a child adopted into a supporting family worse off than one stuck in an abusive family?
>>378839517
>Vita was abandoned by its company within a year
>Still outlived the Wii U, despite Nintendo's best efforts at reviving it
>>378840006
That's a parody account, dumbass
I didn't buy the WiiU. But I gave away my Vita after buying only two games (Uncharted & LBP). Hard to tell...
Wii U for sure. The Vita is still alive thanks to all the weeb kusoge it keeps getting.
>>378838317
Vita sold more, has more games, better games (and is still alive despite /v/ praying for it to die nearly every day) thanks to the raw power of third party support, Wii U died an inglorious death despite Nintendo's best efforts in trying to salvaging it.
If the Vita was a blunder, the Wii U was a cataclysm.
The Vita is finally getting SD card support, at least. Shame you've got to wait half a year, minimum, and then hope the chinks clone it.
>>378840086
This was real, though.

>tfw haven't touched my Vita since Coldsteel 2
where game at
>>378838317
vita was released a year before wii u and it's still alive (barely)
wii u has been dead for a long time
>>378839560
The switch is a glorified handheld. As seen by it using 2013-2014 maxwell tablet tech.
>>378838317
WiiU. I played my WiiU a lot. The Vita a little less. But the amount of games for the Vita and the fact games are still releasing so regularly is a perfect example it lasted longer than the WiiU.
>>378838367
WiiU made more money than Vita
>>378840767
No, it's a home console. Switch is more powerful than the WiiU.
>>378838317
The vita.
No exclusives
No real games
No native backwards compatibility
Shita Cards only
Slim model feels cheaper
>>378841439
So is a galaxy s8. Does that make that phone a home console, too?
>>378838317
well, the vita sold more units and still has games coming out
>>378838317
The one that is no longer alive. Anyone who says the Vita is a bigger failure than the WiiU is a self centered amerifat who thinks only Us sales matter.
