>This had the strongest version of Denuvo yet

>Devs now removed Denuvo

AND YET; I WONT BOTHER PIRATING

ITS ANOTHER ICO CLONE AYYYYYYYYYY LMAO
>>
I played the Baldman release for about an hour and was bored to tears
>>
>>378835501
i dont know why baldman and cpy waste their energy on walking sims
>>
>>378835397
does that mean i can expect tekken 7 to be cracked soon too? I kinda want to try it out but I hate most tekken games desu and don't even know if the game will run well on my pc
>>
They used Denuvo on a fucking walking sim? Why? Seems like huge waste of moneyz.
>>
>>378835629

Using denuvo at all is a huge waste of money.
>>
>>378835397
It´s easy to make fun of Denuvo hear if you ignore the fact that a copy protection mechanism is only as strong as its implementation. And apparently it was rather badly implemented here, seeing as there were also lots of performance drops.
Don´t like Denuvo myself, but I´m getting tired of seein people making fun of it when a lot of the time it´s the devs who fuck up.
Anyways this approach is the best I guess. Having Denuvo at launch, maximize your launch window sales and patch it out once it´s cracked. The devs / publisher won´t have to pay denuvo anymore and the game will still be playable in 10+ years
>>
When will the industry finally realize that the war against piracy is a pointless waste of money?
>>
What torrenting website are you all using now? Last I checked, Piratebay was down.
>>
>they remove Denuvo
>they add 3 bitcoin miners in the crack

Not worth it for a shitty game.
>>
>>378835397
I am baffled by the fact nobody here knows how Denuvo works.
Denuvo is a service. A service to avoid day one piracy and it lasts for a certain amount of time.
That amount of time depends by how much the dev pays for the service. If you pay big money, it will last longer. If you pay few money, the game will be cracked in a week or less.

Nobody here seems to grasp this. Denuvo also offers anti-cheat and anti-key reselling services nobody ever mentions.
I mean, it's not like piratefags are any clever or informed to begin with.
>>
>>378835854
> add 3 bitcoin miners in the crack
A bitcoin miner which uses your gpu to mine in a video game would be retarded. You WILL notice the performance loss and people will find out.
Release groups don´t operate for profit. They crack for prestige. Once a release group is known to pull shit like this nobody will touch their releases with a 10ft pole and that will be that for them.

keep in mind that piracy on ps4 and x1 is completely annihilated

its only on pc that piracy cant seem to win due to various factors
>>
Looks like the devs didn't want Denuvo (see their now deleted tweet) but the publisher did. Shame really.
>>
the gaming industry will never fucking learn
>>
>>378836048
You're saying that, yet ESEA is still the most popular CSGO client out there.
>>
>The only time /v/ will talk about this game is to whine about denuvo

Ico clone or not, it's still pretty as shit and has some great puzles in it
>>
>>378836297
>comparing csgo scrubs to pirates
one of these groups usually has a better understand of how computers work and / or is better informed. Can you figure out which?
>>
>>378835625
>does that mean i can expect tekken 7 to be cracked soon too?

Likely yes, since Baldman entered the scene, he has been cracking recent releases in less than a week, he cracked both Prey and Rime in less than a week after they released.
>>
>>378836067
Can the PS4 not be "hacked" so it can play games you put onto a CD? I find it hard to believe that it is completely annihilated on consoles.

not a lot of people have Blu-Ray drives on their computers, let alone ones that can burn discs. And I don't know if the discs are cheap at all. Plus I've never heard of the PS4 being hacked but I haven't researched it either

>>
>>378836612
Yah, I never conisdered the paywall you'd have to overcome to play pirated games on a PS4.
Even still, you can re-write CD's, and I can't imagine someone hasn't figured out a way to get it working, gonna do some quick seaerching.

From what I've read, no one has really done it with a Blu-Ray CD.

But, people are able to copy their HDD and upload it, and others can download it, along with their library of games, so I guess that counts?

just buy steam access for $3 - antidenuvo.com

but i heard sp takes just 1.5h to complete so it may not even be worth buying/pirating especially since game size is 60gb

PS3 was cracked with games burnable on blurays. In fact, that's why I got a bluray writer. It's not super cheap, but obviously pays for itself.

I use inbuilt search function in qbittorrent. It goes through tpb, torentz2 and torlock by default.

I used to have a blackcats account, but life's a bitch.

look at >>378838495 he knows how a discussion works. He rebutted my original point somewhat. I still stand by what I said for scene releases though.

It would be softcoded if the game's config files had "IWouldLikeToDisableDenuvo = true" option or something.

>He rebutted my original point somewhat. I still stand by what I said for scene releases though.

I was complementing your post actually. While Baldman is not scene, he wouldn't go as low as sneaking a bitcoin miner in his cracks, he just bluntly asks for bitcoin donations.
CPY are just as noble as you described, but Baldman is also honest and skilled too considering he beat CPY in cracking Prey and it was so fast that CPY didn't even bother with the hint.
