Juggling has always been a part of Tekken.
Characters like Law, Christie, and Hwoarang have built in juggles in their move sets.

I just don't understand how you could get to Tekken 7 and JUST NOW realize the game has juggling.

Though the Jugglers are off set by the power strikers anyway. Sure they may get more hits but Heiachi will suplex them one time and even the score.

I really do not understand the hate for Smash. It's got far more depth than most fighting games just by virtue of DI and the whole ringout system, it controls easily so it's all about mindgames and reaction instead of having to swivel your stick in a circle 3 times to do a kick, and due to kills being by percentage, you can't just be a total fucking bitch and spam projectiles the whole match if you want to actually KO them.

It certainly does add to the fact, doesn't it? If you could perform even the most difficult combos by pressing a single button, that would make the game have a lower skill ceiling, like SFV.

It adds to the amount of skill needed to play well, but reading your opponent, knowing what moves to use and when and how, knowing what moves to be wary of from your opponent's character, being familiar with all the timing and mechanics and shit, etc. are the far more important skills.
A skilled player using just the more basic attacks would beat a less skilled player with no problem doing all the complex inputs without much issue.
