If there's a videogame that I like and enjoy playing for whatever reason and I see a thread about it on /v/, I avoid it like the plague. Because I know that if I read the thread, by the end of it I won't like the game anymore because of how /v/ will pick apart every single tiny flaw and make it seem like the worst thing ever, and it'll make me notice the flaws that I didn't before and I'll have all those nagging complaints swirling in my head while I try to play it.
