This game has the potential to be fun, but it isn't. Everyone plays one or two Jasons and uses the default kills because they don't want to spend CP on them. So you die early on and have to watch everyone else get killed in the same way to get your exp. The combat system is also completely broken. If they fix the combat and the community matures maybe it will be worth buying in a month or two.

I'm definitely having fun. Agree that there is a lot of room for improvement, and yeah, the combat system is far too basic. I think it's a good idea to wait for a minute for a sale and some improvements if you're strapped for cash. But uh yeah, still fun as fuck. Game has given me more adrenaline rushes and lola than any other game I can think of in recent history.

Whether you die early has nothing to do with your own skill. It has to do with your spawn point, early inventory and whether Jason is willing to tunnel you all game. This is a casual party game, it requires less skill than virtually any other multiplayer game.

You have to:

1. Knock off his mask by hitting him a bunch, machetes work best
2. Use his mom's sweater on a female councilor to stun him
3. Hit him enough while he's stunned to make him fall to his knees
4. Have Tommy Jarvis finish him off while equipped with a machete or axe

Needless to say it's very hard to pull off.

Dead By Daylight has a Michael Meyers DLC. Nightmare would be fun but would take some serious imagination to pull off successfully. I never really cared for child's play. Evil Dead would be dope as fuck I think. Either that or one with classic monsters like Dracula and Wolfman would be cool and also a good excuse to have different settings and Killers with unique skill sets, etc.

Choke executions should be reserved for when a counselor is low on HP. It will make environmental kills more important and make escaping Jason's grip something that actually fucking matters.

Lower defense means he can be easily stunned so lower strength characters can fight back and stun him a lot easier without the need of a baseball bat. Low hit points don't matter because actually killing Jason is never going to happen like you said, so Jason 9 actually only has two weaknesses instead of three.
