SFV is so scrub friendly you can literally mash out any combo and learn everything a character has to offer in less than a day.

In fact, SFV is so scrub friendly they added a new character called Ed that requires no motion inputs... This right here is Smash Bros territory senpai.

The accessibility of the game eliminated things like one frame links, not a big issue, but the core game is braindead and the only viable playstyle is rushdown as there are maybe 2 characters in the whole game that can even be considered zoning/defensive characters. If you like to watch cutscenes, play Injustice 2.

If you like anime and you're too afraid to go online, play Guilty Gear Rev 2.

It's not, really. The only people who shitpost it are players who thought they could make it big by starting right at the beginning of a new fighting game cycle and realized they suck. Naturally, it's the game's fault, not their own.

There's also the salty animu and SNKucks (fans of lesser fighting games) who don't even play their own games, but like to pretend they're hot shit. It's their luck those games are dead, so they're spared the embarrassment of getting exposed on a regular basis. Since those people have nothing better to do, they shitpost other, better fighting games.

Street Fighter V and Tekken 7 are practically the only fighting games worth playing right now.

Capcom's idea of balancing is play blind darts to decide who gets the buffs or nerfs.
