Why Ninja Gaiden Sigma is inferior to Black again?.

Primarily Rachael levels being a mandatory, unskippable part of the game.

Basically the game takes Ryu away from you every few chapters and forces you to play as an inferior version of Ryu who can only use the worst weapon in the game.

This. Playing as Rachel is suffering. Her hammer is so fucking shit. The Doku fight to skip a difficulty is neat, though.

Sigma has modified enemy spawn. In Black certain enemies would only appear on hard, while in Sigma the hard enemies appear even on easy, but they're less aggressive, which makes their existence completely pointless.
