RiME has been cracked in just five days, slowdown/stuttering issues were due to Denuvo

Really? if that's true then it would confirm that Denuvo fucks gameplay for the ignorants.

What about Ghost Recon Wildlands? Why is that not cracked yet?

Bravo, shills. Feels good to be a responsible consumer who tries before he buys.

It's pretty depressing actually

Denuvo is only going to ramp up their game. Rime's implementation has been by far the most aggressive use and it'll only get worse. And AAA publishers won't care. Customers are getting shitty performance? Who gives a fuck, we have to protect our game.

Eventually it'll get to the point where it can't be cracked, and then what? Enjoy PC gaming while it's still good. It's all down hill from here.
>>
>>378782517
This has been known for ages, don't believe anti-piracy memers.
>>
>>378782307

>slowdown/stuttering issues were due to Denuvo

I don't want to believe this, but somehow I feel like it's true anyway. you are literally punishing the customer for paying for your product legally. YOU ARE DOING THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT THE DRM IS SUPPOSED TO DO.
>>
>>378782517
It's been confirmed since Doom.
>>
>>378782615

Anyone noticed how mainly only shitty games get cracked, with the exception of NieR?

It seems like the crack groups want you to keep buying the good stuff.
>>
>>378782685
That's literally impossible though. I'm sure there's some proper theory for it but it's simply not possible to be 100% safe. The only way they could not have the game leaked/pirated is if they never actually release it and even then people get some pretty obscure shit out there. If it exists people can steal it, simple as that.

First off, that won't happen.
Secondly, the more draconian they make their DRM, the more they'll hurt themselves.
Ubisoft knows this firsthand.

Guess why Denuvo has been removed from Doom. It has been known for a good time now, all that cunts here are interested in is trying to take some sort of a moral high ground or spitefully shitpost.
>>
>>378783326
Every game I've been interested in that had Denuvo has ended up being garbage. I have no faith Warhammer will be different.

Kek. All gaming is going downhill in case you didn't notice, largely thanks to the big money in the industry and the desire of suits to earn it. The future is behind privately funded and financed projects and indie games aka by people that play fucking videogames for people that play fucking videogames.

Who the fuck cares about Rime? It's amazing how devs can now use Denuvo getting cracked as a way to get free marketing for their game and you fall for it every time.

We care about what happens to denuvo, not indie garbage
>>
>>378783907
Seriously, it'll come to shit like this again
If not denuvo then it'll be something else, but it'll only get worse and worse.

Publishers, even indie devs, and demonstrated with this that they refuse to listen to reason. That they think DRM can defeat pirates.

You can't defeat pirates. All you do is hurt paying customers, and the message is clear: they're ok with doing that.
>>
>>378782307
>10-30 denuvo triggers every second during gameplay
Ayy fucking lmao. Does anyone have a screenshot of the dev saying he believes adding denuvo is the right thing to do
>>
>>378784421
>the dev saying he believes adding denuvo is the right thing to do
He has to say that for the same reason he had to implement it.
To please the investors.
>>

>>
>>378783907
windows test mode
insert virtual driver dumped
>enjoy
>>
>>378782517
Denuvo is usually implemented during loading screens so it doesn't affect the performance, the load times just get longer. Since CPY found a way to disable the triggers, devs have been adding triggers everywhere, but Rime goes overboard and has thousands of triggers everywhere.
>>
>>378782856
Nope
>>
>>378782762
VMProtect devs, which is the virtual machine used until v3, report on their site a 3-4% perf impact.
So it always affected the game, who knows their new custom VM (v4) does, with rime denuvo was testing the waters implementing as many triggres as possible.
They'll try anything to stay in business, there's millions of dollars at stake
>>
>>378784952
>thousands
millions

>>378784952

>>
Denuvo is exactly the reason why I'm waiting to see if the Tekken 7 port is good. All signs seem to point to it being a good port, but I imagine something will go wrong like most of Bamco's PC releases.
>>
>>378784768
They're not completely independent, they got funding from various places, and in exchange they have some requirements.
Writing against denuvo and still implemeting it would sure displease a couple of people they shouldn't.

The developers are not stupid, they know denuvo is bad, but they also know when to shut the fuck up about it. This is the exact reason they promised beforehand to remove denuvo once it's cracked.
>>
>>378783869
>>378782307
can somebody who actually bought the game confirm that
>inb4 thinking anybody buys games
put up or shut up pro/anti anti-piracy fags
>>
>>378785485
I'm not buying it. Why does Rime have so many more triggers than other games? Devs are just plain greedy and were hoping for it to go by unnoticed and uncracked. Worse, they fucked over paying customers because of it
>>
>>378782979
Baldman is cracking new games to get his name out there. As soon he released the Rime crack, someone sent him $22.
>>
>>378785890
not a bad way to earn beer
>>
>>378783326

> Total Jewhammer.
>Good.

Nigger, I bought that shit, I've never felt jewed so hard by a game until I got Total Warhammer.

It doesn't deserved to be cracked, doing so will mean more people are able to play the game, and this is a game that should be forgotten about and pretend not to have existed.

The level of greed is simply unacceptable and should be struck from the records.
>>
>>378785890
I'd send him money if it weren't bitcoin
It's a pain in the ass to get bitcoins without paying twice what they're worth and having to send your fucking ID picture to some russian

RiME stuttering is exactly the same as how Arkham Knight performs with the current patch
don't believe the lies in the forums, the game still stutters even on a SSD
>>
Just did some benchmarks with the original game, and the pirated one.

Got 34 FPS more in the pirated version... using the exact same settings. Wtf?

exactly this is the AK meme
no matter what you do with the game, once you are 60% in, the game starts stuttering bad
no matter the system
this is a fact
and it does not happen in the cracked version
as simple as that
