A thirdperson shooting and melee game where armor isn't a % based reduction but rather stops all damage if it holds together depending on penetration, armor thickness and whatnot.

The kicker is that your armor is moveable in realtime. Keys can be bound to trigger certain movements patterns or to concentrate towards a certain section of your body. It can even layer itself to absorb damage it would otherwise let through. The thing is that the armor never fully encases all of your body, max 50% of it if spaced evenly. Holding rightclick on the mouse lets you dynamically control where it should go with ease, keeping itself 360 degrees around you in a freeflow like state. Releasing rightclick either locks it in that state or goes back to a script or idle.

For example this makes it possible minimize taken damage when trying to run across a hallway where you know enemies are camping further down. It also allows several people to join up in a circle or formation to cover unarmored spots of each other easier while advancing.

Different weapons will deal damage in their own way. SMGs spray a lot to get between cracks, snipers penetrate a lot but not all, explosives damages exposed flesh and knocks armor around the other side of the person unless you crouch and concentrate in the direction its coming from with m2, machineguns are in the middle with good accuracy and rate of fire. Melee characters form an extra wide and tough shield at their fist but have less armor overall. They can also use all their bits of armor as an offensive tool by throwing it around forcefully to shred, knock, block and having it return back by itself.

Turn based RPG like Divinity: OS. You have a garrison that serves as your equipment/quest/inventory hub you can walk around and explore in. You can recruit new characters as you play through the story or side missions and you can also purchase recruits. You can research equipment, going as far as even bringing siege units into battle. Although you start with a single squad of characters with stories, you soon become like a Medieval Fantasy Big Boss and form numerous squads you can select for completing various missions and throw your weight in with the factions of the surrounding land. There is no open world. Each mission throws you straight into a battle scenario. Main antagonists are an undead faction with anti-religion overtones.

A game about a chubby girl opening up a bakery. She wants to make sure the opening day is extra special so travels through a portal in the back of her pantry to a magical culinary world where she can find the rarest ingredients.

It would be a 2D open world game. As you collect secret ingredients you can combine them together to make new items that help you explore the world. For example using giant cookies as platforms to cross a sea of milk, a mirror cake that can redirect beams of light,stale french bread hard enough to break through brick walls, or the century pound cake that makes you heavy enough to avoid strong winds or break through the floor.

It's not very fleshed out as of yet but I believe the mechanic can have value even in shooters. The general idea is that the armor is fickle so even someone playing with incredible skill in positioning his floating armor is still able to be gunned down if, for example, bursted sufficiently in a somewhat short moment. The trick is making it reliable and not feeling like complete RNG while not allowing good players to overcome any odds by making it OP. You can stop a bullet going for a headshot if you know where it's coming from but after that you're left with little protection remaining and thus very vulnerable. I'll try and expand upon it.

Upon completion of the story campaign, you and your team of Heros are dropped into a portal, summoned by another world, and end up in a modern city today. It is fully possible that the way you've built your characters to succeed in the campaign, makes them completely incompatible with modern society, and thus, end up dead, in jail, or committing suicide.

The game starts grimdark, with characters underpowered versus the monsters they must fight, before becoming OP holy warriors that are brought into a new world and studied by science and given many boons, then dropped back into a pit of despair as they're cast aside by today's consumer society and their celebrity and important status fades, and things such as finding a job, managing money, and integrating into a normal lifestyle become necessary.

Obviously, the 2nd part of the game would be completely unadvertised. It would be marketed as a Rouge-like dungeoneering game with bonus adventure. But in reality, the bonus adventure is the real game, not even starting until ~40-60 hours in. The real adventure of staying a live, and not being an adult NEET and dying off.

Skinny people will be fastest on all chairs but less stable as well. They will more easily get knocked or blown out of their chairs. Fatter people will have more health and stability at the lack of mobility. However, their max speed is higher in downhill. The amount of weapons you can carry is determined by the max weight of the chair but also the strength of the character. Skinny people are generally weaker while fatties are stronger (don't use realism on this).

Falling out of a chair (ejecting, blown out of it and such) will leave you vulnerable but not dead. The things you can on the floor are crawling slowly without any offensive capabilities. peaking over obstacles and occasionally rolling on the side until you find another chair to mount (there are a lot strewn across the maps).

Special maneuvers can be performed with different chairs. Such as kicking another chair quickly across a hall while the force propels the kicker backwards. Ropes can tie several chairs together to create a sort of banzai bayonet squad with increase health, stability, speed and running over or through barricades and objects. Strong characters can throw skinny people in small chairs some distance to quickly assault or overcome campers. You will be able to switch position on your chair to shoot over the backrest.

Since everyone is in comfortable chairs the weapons will always have a high level of precision, even in high speeds and during acceleration.

The main idea behind it is that it's just funny as fuck in co-op when one player is driving a tank and the other is manning the turret and then adding an extra dimension to that.

I'd also want different types of guns and fish, like Sniper-Eel, Missile-Tuna, Shotgun-Goosefish. It could also have an online arena mode where you're chosen to be either the gun or the fish and paired with another random player.

You were in an accident that paralyzed you from the waist down and it totally sucks. You can't do any of the things you used to enjoy, boys don't look at you anymore, and your so called friends don't want you to drag them down. You can try to live your life just like before or you can feign helplessness and take advantage of all the people who feel pity for you.

Trying to get by normally and helping other people ends up where you make a bunch of real friends who respect you and are just as likely to help you out in a tough spot. The setting is like a modern day rpg and battles are the normal things you go through from day to day blown up into huge conflicts. Doing a history exam would have you battling against ancient romans and doing homework would be fighting against the things distracting you. It's important to have a lot of friends because you have a constantly rotating party depending on the people you know and the people who are physically nearby.

Being totally selfish and taking advantage of people ends up where you start feeling entitled to their favors and pity. You don't have any real friends that will stick up for you but it feeds into your selfishness that manifests as a physical thing in battle. As you do more selfish things it get stronger and stronger until it's able to puppeteer your broken body. The creature is called a [stand] because it allows you to stand on your own two feet. Getting that part of you back helps build up your self image and you can't help but feed into your stand so it can get better and better.
And of course since a lot of fights are just the concept of battle you aren't actually standing again or a cool fashionable girl that anyone admires. And honestly even in battles where you "win" it's like a hollow mental victory even if it makes you out to be an even shittier person.

Then at the end of the year the game would flash back moment to moment tallying up you how you handled it all to give you a unique ending.

Isometric view, very similar to Hyperlight drifter, Twitch reaction based action, you can only attack after you dodge, attacking gives you i-frames, enemies are super fast and appear out of nowhere. You have 2 main weapons, a 1 handed sword and an axe, sword is fast and lets you dodge, axe has cleave and higher damage.

That's a really good idea. It'd be cool if it took place from both the perspective of the girl and the monster. The girl has lived most of her life in the monster and she can't remember anything prior, the monster is the last one of the species so it goes around the ocean just eating stuff and maybe somehow communicating with the girl. The point of the game is to figure out what happened to both of them, so the whale has to go under the sea and talk with other animals to get info, while the girl occasionally goes on land to explore and get info. You could only do either for so long, because the girl can't live long without food, fresh water, and air, and the whale can't live long in a freshwater harbor.
It could end that the girl's family were scientists or whalers and were trying to capture members of the monster's species to study / sell it, but the monster survived. The ship was destroyed during the attempt, but the girl survived and the monster took pity on her.

Red Line racing game made by wipe out devs. Has the satisfying feel of Burnout nitro boosts, levels almost like pod racing (alien type worlds, ect). The tracks arnt laps, but one long continuous race to the finish.

Maps can either be premade story mode stuff, or procedural generated. Before the match starts, you have one minute look at the map and its various paths. You can mark the map at different spots that will give you warnings as you approach them during the race. Example:

>As you race, your crew man on the radio "Heads up! The right turns comming up!"

The vehicles are completely customization. Map has alot of unpaved areas? Better get the cash and put treds on instead of tires. Rivers? Going to need amphibian model.

Of course there are weapons. They affect speed slightly so laying them on can be detrimental, but sometimes taking your opponent out is better then being faster then him.

The final coup-De-gra: It has an option for driver seat VR.

I actually have two ideas that appeal to the old games I used to play that just aren't seen anymore.

One is a space-sim which combines flight models of a flight simulator and a rapid/fast-paced arcade feel of a game like Terminal Velocity or Freespace. Would focus on splitscreen or local multiplayer with drop-in-and-play capabilities like the old Starfox games used to have. Overworld would be akin to Starfox 2 which would reduce your ship to the size of a dot on a screen so you could traverse the solar system much quicker without boring downtimes.

Second game is similar in concept but is aimed at mechs. Basically a game modeled after Mechwarrior 2 back before that series became a really dumb third person shooter with robots bathed in MMO mechanics..

I will talk about my dream MMO. It's Star Wars Galaxies in a western setting. Transport will be the cornerstone of the game, I mean you will be willing to trade a legendary one of a kind gun for a horse or a part to create an airship.

Biggest or more really the long term goal for most players would be to find rare resources and create town which would need to be connected to the large scale railway travels the land. The trains that travel the world will come in a few flavors. There will safe trains that players can use to ship items and themselves between towns, raid boss trains that players will have to race and beat in high speed battles, and there will player created trains be used how ever you want.

Mob mode and Vigor are two options to battling enemies with a very high defense, particularly in the harder areas. No big, connecting overworld, think the first Zelda and it's "levels" with the dungeons, except it's out in the open fields. I'd want the player to go anywhere they want (it'll take a while to explain the balancing done by percentages), and in the harder areas a regular attack will do very little to some enemies.

So if you're playing with all three party members, mob mode helps create enough attack power to overpower that defense. And if you wanna disable your party members to play solo, Vigor also helps you to do that. Does that make sense? I know none of that was explained in the images, sorry.

No acceleration but can carry the momentum of other vehicles. Sort of like surfing in counter strike. Sticks to all surfaces so can be used for tunnels but jumping and breaking reduce speed drastically
>Ring style
Shoot up a bolt of pure light then ride it with a ring to build momentum. Sort of like creating rails from the sonic games, except they boost you and if you aim and time it right you can never need to use any of the other 3 styles. The down side to this is that it becomes increasingly harder to use it, and your rivals can use your rails (on things like their boards and rings) and break them.
>Sprinter style
Slow acceleration but without the loss of max movement speed when preforming complex movements. Unlimited speed cap. The only thing stopping you is getting left behind, attacked, running into walls, and failing jumps and movements which becomes harder because you are grounded to the floor.

The tracks would be dynamic and require skill based movement to traverse on them. Players would need to mix up the 4 styles to properly move along the tracks. They could be themed like sewers, other worldy dimensions, cyberpunk shit, but honestly the theme that would best fit the game to me would be the Japanese bike gangs. You would have high customization and the story would be about defeating other gangs.

Ways to halt other players would be through shoulder checking them, hitting them with your slow wind up but devastating baton, or shooting them with the gun at your side if you can aim.
