To be honest, the game wasn't even that bad for an indie title. It's the fact he lied to everyone about the multiplayer aspect.

Molyneux comes across as though he actually really, really loves making video games. It's just a shame that he doesn't look at his failed experiments and say "This one I will *not* release to the public."

Playing a Moleneux game is like showing up to a band's jam session and wondering if they'll actually play any songs or if they'll just tune their shit for hours.

His career is practically over with. The dude not only lied but lied to such a high degree that everyone called him out and is now marked as a con man. No game he makes in the future will ever be recognized or be taken seriously with his horrible record of lying about shit that does not exist.

He may have gotten away with No Man's Sky but his other projects with be criticized harshly now
