I haven't played anything from this year. I wait until games and tech is cheap and bug-free.

Looking forward to playing Doom '16 when I can, currently enjoying Dark Messiah and AvP2.

Yakuza 0 is my game of the year

Yakuza 0 was my game of the year. With the history of the series, I was expecting an overrated/boring as all hell videogame. It actually was entertaining and respectable.

Persona 5, hands down. I finished at 200 hours and I haven't played another game for weeks. Legit this was the game I needed to get me to take a break from gaming because it was just too good

It came out in 2015 but my GOTY is Yakuza 0. NieR/BotW are runner-ups.

Hollow Knight was really good too.

My runner ups would probably be Resident Evil VII, Ni-Oh, Persona 5, and Prey.

Biggest disappointments were Gravity Rush 2 and Injustice 2.
