The past 3 games have been Apollo games and i care less about his backstory each time they do it

>Dual Destinies
>an Apollo game
nah
And even AA4 itself is debatable
>Post yfw it was actually a good game
I was pleasantly surprised. I'd lost faith in the series but it shows that they can actually pull it off.
>>378753862
apollo's """"backstory"""" gets more and more retarded each game, I don't know why they just keep pulling shit out of thin air just to make him seem like some kind of tragic character

>yfw it's actually an Apollo game
Gee, I really couldn't wait to go through more plot tweeests about that Gary Stu's past.

Not unlike everything in T&T leading back to Phoenix's ex-gf

>an old girlfriend that's responsible for a lot of crimes.
Versus.
>oh hey I'm actually the adopted son of the former king of this foreign country.

>a lot of crimes
pretty vague for someoone who turns to be the cousin and nemesis of you mentor and was responsible in creating the game's prosecutor and was key in the murder of misty fey

>it's been a year since AA6
Jesus, how time flies.
AA7 fucking when
>>378757539
Not to mention Mia's first case involved her. Edgy was part of it too but I think he was already climbing his way up, that wasn't his first case.
Also, Mia's defense of Nick in the case involving her ends up spurring Nick to work under her specifically.
The only person more responsible for the events in the series in general is that asshole pastry chef from AAI2.

After DGS2 releases and flops in Japan.

Really wasn't expecting it so it threw me for a loop. While I like Apollo his backstory wasn't quite what I was expecting. Like it shat all over what AA4 established.
Did you hear the rumors that Turner Grey is still buttmad for the insident one year ago and is trying to make a ghost apologise?
How far a man can JUST himself like that?

>original plan for Apollo was for him to be the son of a mafia boss
>AA6 was going to take place in a criminal underworld setting with underground trials
>this idea was abandoned because it was "too dark"
>>378759408
It was abandoned because fans demanded they bring Maya back.
>>378759408
Nobody said anything about Apollo being a mafia son. They just said they originally had the idea of underground trials.
And I'm pretty sure they scrapped it because they didn't think of a good way for it to fit as unique gameplay, not because it was too dark.

mayafags are the worst

I loved it, it was no Investigations 2 or T&T but I enjoyed it quite alot.
>>378759408
Back this up.

>Nobody said anything about Apollo being a mafia son. They just said they originally had the idea of underground trials.
It was always going to be about Apollo's backstory though. You could put two and two together.

It was definitely a solid bronze medal. Doesn't quite hit as high the other games, but I found it to be solid throughout
