Honestly, Akuma's fight for story mode is pretty damn hard for easy casual mode. It doesn't help they take the rage art out of your character (which you can't choose) and made Akuma withstand a couple of hits without flinching.

I played KoFXIV steam version last week and it's amazing just how fast EVERYTHING is compared to PS4. Just going through menus is faster, going into training mode, searching for a match and eventually loading a match against someone else. I'd imagine Tekken is the same with all aspects of the game.

tekken has always looked this way, they use the soul calibur engines, and as such all the characters look like the generic presets you would find in the character creation mode

Hi /v/ its r/gaming here, With Tekken 7 coming out soon many of us are getting excited to playing online and im here to extend the olive branch to my fellow fighting game players in /v/, However if you guys want to play with us you have to abide by some ground rules to help make matches more engaging and improve the overall online community for this game.

1) Limit juggling or avoid altogether. Juggling takes the "fight" out of the fighting game. Use your reactions and mind games rather than the hackeysack mini game to engage your opponent in battle.

2) If the opponent is knocked against a wall, maneuver to separate the wall from him or back off a bit. Closing the battle field with the opponent pinned ruins the match and the fairness of the fight.

3) Repeating the same moves over and over again is looked down upon. Not only is it cheap sometimes (depending on the move), but it takes all variety out of the match. Use different moves to make the match interesting and show off more variable skill.

4) Avoid using throws too much. Since they are unblockable they throw off the pace of the match and give too much reward for little risk. Again, vary your attack style.

5) Mashing counters is scrub like. Use counters with skill and reaction. Sitting there throwing out counters nonstop is another form of turtling.
