There was a long time development hell wherein Street Fighter x Tekken, a crossover game where Tekken characters would fight in the Street Fighter engine, would have been followed up by Tekken x Street Fighter, which would've worked like that in the reverse. Tekken 7 having Akuma was the compromise of that development hell, I would wager. Making 20-move move lists out of 80-150 move lists is a lot easier than going the other way around anyway. It's funny, the projectiles were exactly what the developers were having problems with. But Jeihachi had a fireball in TTT2 and Devil has had a laser attack for the longest time, I think somebody uses a gun? It's weird.

I feel like Rick's moveset in the reboot would translate well into Tekken. He has a 1,1, 2 and a tackle. All he needs is some kick moves for 3 and 4.

They also have a whole series to make a stage from. I think it should be a woods stage. And give him a 2x4 customization item. There's already a shotgun.

I was bored recently and watched Angry Joe's Injustice 2 review. I find it amusing to watch people talk about fighting games who obviously have no idea what they're talking about. I was in tears when he talked about the "massive roster of 28 characters". I'd recommend it. Not the games though cause Netherrealm has no idea what a good fighting game is.
