2 was the GTA:SA clone we wanted instead of the snoozefest that was GTAIV
3 was dumbed down too much for my tastes
4 they went extra hard on the dumb factor which actually worked in its favor

3 I didn't like at all, too over the top for my tastes since I played it as a GTA clone

4 fixed a lot of the bad humor that was in 3. But the only true way you can appreciate 4 is by playing all of the games since it references all of them.

Perfect mix of over the top and gangster. 3 and 4 were literal reddit bait that expose the real retards.

2 also had the greatest minigames. Dont play them without coop

2 and 4. 3 is too wacky to be taken seriously, but not wacky enough to be truly crazy; you gotta go all in, or all out, half-way ain't good enough.

I've only played a bit of 2 which was pretty alright but I never got far in it, and Gat Out of Hell which was a legitimate surprise. That game was fun as fuck, mostly because of the flying.

Damn. This explains why he was so hurt when people roasted in his ass in that one stream. Usually he shrugs of insults, but it looked like he was genuinely hurting on cam. The guy's a dick, but the people going ham on him, combined with Leanna leaving, must've been a bit too much.

People are going on about 3's problem being the "wackiness" and whatnot.

Really, the big problem with 3 when compared with 2 is that it's world is so much more lifeless and empty. Part of 2's greatness is in the rich detail of it's world and what you can do. 3 takes away activities and re-skins many missions into activities themselves. Outside of the main game, there is barely anything. Acquiring vehicles and assassinations add a little but not much and you could also do these things in 2 on top of everything else. The rest of the world is just empty and full of buildings and locations you can't enter.

Seeing the direction 4 went in, I wouldn't be surprised if they simply ran out of gas and became more interested in the super powers and "wacky" elements than the open world, GTA style core of the game while making 3. Some people prefer that, and I can understand why in some ways, but I still feel 2 was easily the best overall experience with the most content.

I have 4 on steam and I'll play with you you faggot. I played it online some months ago and it DC'd us randomly on some main mission and almost every single time we tried certain side missions. Some side missions are just bugged and impossible to play online. No wonder those faggots went bankrupt. I think my id is alphakennywhere.
