Seems like most games fuck up when it comes to sidequests, they're mostly pure filler created by the less experienced staff. Might as well not even bother in the first place. They only exist to give the game more "value" in terms of hours played per dollar.

They probably just put them in so they can say that their game has "extra content." They're mostly just dialogue boxes, so they were probably easy to make. The real crime is how there's like 50 of them.
