Still trying to learn to play puyo puyo. I just play Puyo 1 and reset and start from stage 1 whenever I lose. Farthest I've gotten without losing is stage 6, I think.

I just started the story mode on 3ds and I beat the shit out of Amitie in stage 1-3, just practicing t-spins and tetrisies combos. I even almost lost once due to trying too much. Needless to say, I need a lot of practice if I'm gonna t-spins in regular battles.

Play a lot and learn patterns. My first time playing puyo was in 2013 so I've just naturally had a lot of time to get good. Not saying it takes that long though, it was only about a month before I could comfortably make at least 6-7 chains.

Is that so? I've started playing Tetris casually about a year ago. I only did Tetrisies so setting up for both T-Spins and Tetrisies is really confusing.
I've also recently learned about the SRS, but I have no way practice it.
