onlive had a crap selection of games, but had a neat way of interacting with people, it was just really unrestricted to kids and they were soliciting a lot more than just money for their birthday, I think that's the real reason it was canned.

What's funny is the PS4 launch was horrible, they just made fun of Xbox's draconian DRM so nobody noticed that the PS4 literally had no games until 2015. 8th gen has been a complete disaster, E3 2012 and 2013 were what made me build a PC since Sony and Microsoft weren't even trying. Nintendo sort of tried but fucked up too badly.
