The thing about MvC3 was that the original game was designed without that much DLC in mind for release. Shuma and Jill were actually incomplete upon release, and they had data for Frank and Doc Ock as well. Ultimate was just DLC as a standalone game. This is way different, they don't seem to be focusing much on core gameplay at all but rather creating a DLC plan to sell fan-demanded characters.

If they did this back in 2012 or 2013 with Marvel 3 it'd have been fair, but with how shitty this new game looks and how bland the starting roster is, I'd not have any hope.

I suck shit at fighting games and cannot maintain focus if I fuck up during a match, but I can still tell that KoF doesn't feel like Street Fighter, Guilty Gear doesn't feel like Street Fighter, NRS doesn't feel like Street Fighter. Shit on SFV all you want, but it doesn't feel nearly as un-Street Fighter as those games do.
