Have you ever played Double Dash? It allowed this also. I remember being an asshole that would save a Blue Shell for one character & just use the other for other items and blew the person in first up or if I'm far enough ahead just blow myself up at the finish line to be cocky.

I think it worked better in DD because Bullet Bill and Golden were locked behind characters.
I also never experienced anyone getting two specials at the same time. Possibly koopa/paratroopa.

You can turn off items if you're a competitivefag. Argument over.

MK doesn't calculate the position to the next player or the majority of the other players. 1st and last can be two seconds apart and the game gives you items that give you 5+ seconds advantage.

There should be a new kind of shell that works like the red shells of old with their weak homing.
