Why don't you stupid dense motherfuckers understand this? Games CAN age poorly. Obviously, the games themselves don't change. But the industry standards change. Ideas and mechanics that were thought to be cool and innovative in the past are now old and shitty by today's standards. Our understanding of modern game design has allowed us to greatly improve upon concepts in games from decades past.

So yes, the games age poorly, but that doesn't make them bad games. You just have to keep in mind that games simply weren't as developed at the time. They still have an important place in gaming history.
