You can stop there, all the other ones are memes. Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 are both shit, Arcanum is the closest but still not very good, and absolutely under no circumstances should you go near any dumpster shit like Wizardry or Icewind Dale or unplayably old things like Wasteland.

The best recent attempts were Wasteland 2 and Tides of Numenera, both of which were underrated although still nowhere near as good as PST/F1/F2.

Was hooked instantly. Put ~100 hours in it within a few weeks.

Is there any rpg game whose dialogue rivals Planescape Torment's? One that takes into consideration your intent behind what you say and provides as many avenues of behavior? I didn't enjoy how many of the characters were stuck on the DND clearly good clearly bad shenanigans with an orderly or chaotic twist. What you could be as an individual, though, was amazing and the main story was good, although slightly more narrow in scope than I usually like.

You know, I use to think that the Enclave were just super goofy villains but when you begin to think about how much damage the radiation would of done to the human race and how they're a pure blonde line that would be the best chance for long term human survival, who needs living space, you can began to see it as more and more justifiable. What's wrong with PoE? I rather enjoyed Pillars of Eternity. Especially how it had a good focus in the dlcs on to what degree do you hold on to and remember the past and what is the right amount to assist in your life. When do you forgive yourself too much? Forget too much. Remember too much. The main quest in the base game also had a good message on perseverance and to what degree are you willing to harm others for the sake of uplifting a goal or your desired community. To what degree should you be the prince Machiavelli would of wanted? Also had a good message on how religion can be a powerful and wonderful thing, but at what cost? Also, it shines light on its likely pure human roots despite it powerful affect.

First of all stop playing Tyranny, its the worst out of all the nu-CRPGs released.
You should definately play BG2 once your done with BG and maybe play one of the IceWind Dales for the more dungeon crawly type for cRPGs.
Also dont skip Temple of Elemental Evil, Acarnum is overrated however.
Lastly, if you want something more on the tactical side, you should play the new Shadowrun games, especially Dragonfall.
