They did need to change their logo. Logos cant have gradients on them these days. They needed something that could be printed a single block colour & still look clear at different sizes. Like the McDonald's or apple logo. But they fucked up. This just looks bad and messy when it's shrunk down and only looks sort-of acceptable when it's blown up large

The overlapping lines just make it look bad at smaller size. If they lost the overlapping lines and cleaned it up it would actually be a solid distinctive logo. It just looks badly drawn atm tho. Like somebody tried to make a spiral in photoshop but didnt quite know what they were doing
