The GBA Bobobo games. There was a really good RPG one, but i forgot the title. Reminded me of Mario & Luigi, and i played through it without even understanding anything.

It's a postpost apocalypse. Your character, Gene, got his arm cut off trying to save a girl, Olivia, who is the last survivor of an order dedicated to protecting the "God Hands", literally the arms of god. To save your live she fuses the one she has to you, and so Gene has to stick with her both because she saved his life and because she'll cut the arm off you if you don't.

The other arm is in the possession of Azel, a traitor to the order who's now working as one of the Four Devas, a group of demons attempting to resurrect the demon god Angra (SATAN in Japan), the one who brought about the original apocalypse.

That's the actual story, but the plot really plays out like a 70's era comedy show.
