This severed head thing remind me of Ocelot having Liquid's hand in MGS4, and him thinking he was him. People always gloss over the end when its revealed that it was all a ruse and Ocelot was just weak minded enough to fall for. Liquid was truly dead and only the idea of him still living thru Ocelot was enough to make the meme reality. It gets revealed at the end of the game and not really touched on too well, considering how much game is left when the reveal happens. Its almost as if it was an idea Hideo liked, liked enough to expand and expoung on later.

At 6am, Ocelot meets up with BB again, they both part, now Ocelot hypnotizes himself and meets up with Venom and BB goes off to do his own thing. Then Ocelot is on the ship with Venom.

For anyone who doesn't follow the in game events, for the past couple of years since the game release, Phantom Pain has had emblems to use for your base that are available as rewards for playing the events. Every two weeks, a new emblem has been available for a reward. This has been consistent.

In December of 2015, after the games release and well after Konami and Kojima had parted ways, the game updated with what became the finale set of emblems. They've been in the game the entire time, just inaccessible for the players to use until the events let them unlock it. One of the emblems newly added into the game was a picture of Kojima's head. Doesn't really make sense for them to add that to the game after firing him, right?

Well, last Tuesday was the absolute last day for them to put that emblem as an event reward without having it come out at E3 2017. It is the last emblem available, and it's been a few weeks since the 2nd to last one came out. It's either coming out then or never.

There is one last weapons upgrade release coming out(a single pack of level 11 weapons) that, per their patterned schedule of releases, is scheduled to be released on June 13th. Just to prove that I know a little bit about what I'm talking about, here is a full list of what they are:

FB MR R-L FLTN *10, *11 +2 ammo
BATTLE DRESS *11 +defense
SNEAKING SUITS *11 +defense
UA-DRONE *11 +vaporization range
UA-DRONE (SLEEP) *11 +vaporization range

It'd be fitting for the 'entire game' to have it's full content be released all on the same day.

Zero is an invalid by the time of MG2. If Zero wanted him dead he wouldn't have gone out of his way to commission a body double to guarantee his safety. The Patriots were fucked up, yeah, but in the grand scheme of things Zero's heart was in the right place-- he was trying to do what he believed The Boss would have wanted, only it ended up spiralling out of control. Outer Heaven is no different, it was conceptualized as The Boss' dying wish, but ended up becoming more and more distorted as time went on, with Big Boss (and later on Liquid Snake) seeking war in the name of total anarchy, the opposite of Zero's desire for control but in no way more 'justified'.
