Apart from on one or two maps, where there's an actual broken spawn point (Chalet, campfire spawn for example) you only have yourself to blame for dying to a spawn peek.

Step 1: Select your spawn
Step 2: Drone out the usual spawn peek spots
Step 3: If you spot somebody peeking, make the decision to either challenge or switch spawn location.
Step 4: If you decide to challenge, pre aim where they're peeking you from and kill them by peeking them.

Congratulations, you're now in a 5v4 from that free kill. Enjoy having the man advantage and the odds in your favour to win the round.

Spawn peaking isn't exactly a problem. Windows are legitimate problems in these scenarios. You should have someone covering your approach. What I don't like is when the defenders come outside to surprise rush you while you're engaging ops. I've never liked that and I still don't. I even do it because it's part of the game. But it shouldn't be. It's a god damned stand off situation and the defenders put walls and a roof between them and the outside world for a fucking reason. They should either block defenders from going outside completely or death after 2 seconds.

They pushed this game out completely broken then abandoned it to focus on the division which everyone knew was shit before it even came out.

A year later Ubisoft realizes that siege is actually a good game and they're finally trying to support it (nobody in that company has any foresight) but they don't have the infrastructure to support the game. They literally fell ass first into a competitive gaming scene and they can't not fuck it up to save their lives.

This game was designed to cater to the CoD players on console. Any updates they do are made with consoles in mind and it's why they haven't done anything to fix 3 speed ops playing like Quake on PC because of how easy they are with KBM. Thermite is for breaching reinforced walls to allow access, Hibana is for making murder holes in reinforced walls. Hibanas who use all their charges to make a big enough hole to enter a room with are apes and should be team killed instantly.

Yeah I'm noticing a lack of proper Operator selection. However I am still doing my placements. But every game my teammates pick whoever they like playing. Never any breachers, nor supports (twitch/thatcher). Its like, Buck, IQ, Ash, Glaz and a wildcard.
