Gaudy, over the top shit. "epic" skins for 16 year olds who are impressed by blue LED's and razor peripherals.

I literally used blackhand doomsaw on my fury warrior before I quit. All sublety is gone, weapons in Blackwing Lair not only felt powerful but they had a subtle strength about thme. Not just FUCK YEAH RED SKULLS AND TWIRLY HANDLEWRAPPINGS.

Not that guy but the difference was that there was only a few over the top weapons back then and epic weapons usually were iconic in that you'd recognize the weapon when someone had it and you'd know that they went through shit to get it.

In modern WoW it's just whatever who cares.

WoW gear was always shitty looking over the top gear. Maybe slightly less so. But it's always been ugly as all fuck.
