the sims is a fun game but i only have so many hours in a day and it would feel like a waste if i were to have those hours where i'm not sleeping or working filled by the sims and not a game i can play with my online friends

if i don't have interactions with my online friends i don't know what the point of living for the time being is

Very disappointing. After the Sims 3 it just felt massively gimped, and the emotions system is just too fucking easy to manipulate into making mad skills so it doesn't affect gameplay all that much.
Expansion packs are mostly shit. I'd rather they do Sims 3-type stuff that actually adds compelling content that increases replayability massively, but instead they churn on gimmicky things that don't do much for general gameplay.
