It's Supergiant Games so I'll check it out. Their art is still godtier, music seems alright, maybe it'll take a few listens to really grab me like Bastion and Transistor did.

On the one hand, props for them experimenting with combat. Transistor took a while to get used to it but I ended up loving it.
This is just basketball. It's their game, they can do whatever but what the fuck are they going with this.

Bastion and Transistor trailers set up an obvious story. Big disaster happen, find out what it was. 4 people are after you, find them first. From the two trailers in the steam page, it seems like its focused entirely on combat.
Walk around for a bit, meet enemy, go into nether realm to play a basketball game, come back out.
Can't say this is grabbing me. I'll keep a close eye on this but yeah, not keeping my hopes up.

They haven't failed yet. Even with the repetitive gameplay of Transistor, they gave a great narrative. Neither of their previous games have almost any dialogue, and none involving the main characters, and despite this they relay powerful stories.

I'm skeptical about them doing a sports game with narrative, but I don't doubt that they can pull it off.
