I can't play it for year-long stretches like I used to. The wheel of fortune spin-to-win shit ruined that for me. And then all the other pay-to-win microtransaction bullshit that came after. Even the art style has changed. It feels more kiddy than it did before. Feels like it lost that LOTR fantasy setting.

Jagex turned out to be a pretty big disappointment.

I miss RS during its golden years but I'd never return to it now as it's a shell of its former self.

Played the fuck out of it between 2009 and 2011. I played OSRS for a while, but I just can't get into it any more. Just about every day I take time to think about what made it such a great game.

Well if you're enjoying it have fun my man but it's never too late to turn back. Playing a regular account will allow you to regain your progress much quicker at least with buyable skills.
