Except that never happens? Link killed dozens of them in the past (and almost died from exhaustion), they just say they are dangerous and that there are a lot.

NPc's only have 3 hearts and little to no armor anon.

They also cant parry or use stamina based moves like charge attacks and have no paraglider or bullet time.

They can block and attack or run like hell. Not sprint though.

I know the feeling. These things were spooky as fuck until I discovered you could hack the legs off in a couple hits apiece, and they became even less intimidating when I figured out that they can be staggered out of their firing animation. For how advanced the AI was for the other enemy types, the Guardians are a huge disappointment. Imagine if Guardians would rip up trees and throw them like Hinoxes, or would cover their eyes after being shot once or twice. Hell, what if there were Guardians that could convert between crawling and flying modes, or use energy melee weapons like the Guardian Scouts? These things had the potential to be fucking menacing, but they're really only a threat as long as you don't have the balls to take them on. I was killing them from the start once I started my second file.

Make sure you play in a dark room with your eyes closed and monitor turned off.
