Why are Ritual summon so shit? Will they ever get support?

Duel Links was snazzy enough to finally get me to learn how to play yugioh, and I regret to report that the app is held back by the inherent unfunness of the game.

Because they're Extra Deck monsters that are stuck in the Main Deck and need a separate spell card and 1 or more other monsters actually to summon, so they can easily clog up your hand. Nekroz were pretty good, though.

Have they added anything fun to the game yet? Preferably something that doesn't need a bunch of SRs/URs that I won't be able to get.

Rituals are inherently cloggy and slow. Needing the monster, spell, and the tribute fodder just to summon a monster is lackluster as fuck. Even Fusions and Tribute summons aren't that slow. Rituals can only be good when the cards have really good effects to make up for the downsides.
But they have gotten support. PrePrep is a damn good card. Just wait till there is some busted Ritual monster that can abuse it to its fullest so it gets limited.
