I like it, and I didn't like Dead by Daylight. DbD always felt like you could never really have fun with the victims, since they try hard and fast as possible to win, it becomes a race and you have to do the same.

In this game though, you can definitely fuck around and mess with people. Matches can often last the full 15 minutes, compared to DbD where I don't think I ever saw a match go beyond 5. Though the unfortunate trade off is, unlike DbD, you can't choose to be the monster. Jason is randomly assigned, and since there are like 10 players per match, you only get to play Jason rarely.

Still though, again, tl;dr I didn't enjoy DbD but I enjoy Ft13th, for fixing or improving on the problems I had with DbD.

I'd rather not shift grab but I do go for it at times just to see if I can snag them. I feel like the only person who fucks it up 99% of the time. I go for shift stabs now which I still miss a lot of but feels much more satisfying because you'll likely be able to grab the injured frightened person afterward anyway.

Stalk and traps are my boy 7's best fucking friend. Well shift helps but I find I use his teleport far more often to get ambushes in. Actually having fun as both counselor and Jason.

I just do my own thing when Jason, have fun, try to get environmental kills when viable. One group told me I put on a good show. Didn't think I was doing overly well or anything, just had fun. Them saying that made me realize the Jason is kind of putting on a show for the spectators, and if I entertained them adequately my Jason 7 did his job well.

I try to get 8/8, and never leave with less than 6/8.

That said, I spend my whole round toying with everyone in order to make the game more tense for everyone. Just going in and teleport grabbing everyone to death is boring. I always find a way to get 'distracted' after the second axe chop.
