I wonder. It's very pretty and the combat is flashy but after almost 40 levels I'm still just using the same basic 1-2-3 to grind mobs. I haven't gotten much into the other shit to do like crafting or housing but I've heard that it's pretty bare-bones and there's a ridiculous amount of RNG for endgame gear/crafting. There's a lot of QoL stuff available through the cash shop that I really think should be freely available and according to other players if you really want to be competitive or relevant in the game there's several things from the cash shop you flat out need to buy. It feels like Aion except much better looking. I'll probably keep playing for the rest of my trial time but I'm not planning to spend money on it.

game's combat changes quite siginificantly as you unlock another weapon type that you freely swap between (depending on class) and that usually has around 10 more skills

Not really, it looks great, has good animations and a nice character creator, but the worst fetch quest shit ever and is one of the worst grindfests even for MMO standarts
