I hope in future titles it is turned into an actual attack that lets you continue a combo while switching between Demon and Archdemon besides breaking out of your combo to transition to them. haven't played a monster hunger game since tri on the wii, but i loved that game so much that i'm going to buy a switch just for this game when it comes out.

back then i was a longsword main and i played with 2-3 friends who were switch axe, greatsword, and bowgun mains. we were casual as fuck, but had so so so much fun. i know the weapons have gone through many changes, and it's my understanding that xx will have expanded movesets and styles that some of the previous monhun installations have added. so my question to you all is will/is longsword good and fun in current iterations of monster hunter?

Favourite entry is a tough one. Freedom2/Unite were amazing for having all the content up to that point in a single entry and the lack of charm bullshit, but 4U grew on me over time.

I can't say I have full faith in the hunter style/art system, but I suppose I should play and beat MHXX before coming to a full conclusion on that one, but MHGen hasn't been the most difficult game. It feels like so many old monsters just aren't equipped to deal with mounting, styles, and arts.

People are helping in online hunts by just being on the field to be completely honest. Any switch of agro is less damage for everyone else.

I never understood styles and arts hate. Rather, I understand the hate, but I don't understand why balance is so important in this context? You make equipment and progress in general to make these fights easier, right? Why not just go naked the whole game, only upgrading weapons to keep DPS up? What's the point of not using my max potential when it makes hunts as minimal of a hassle as possible?
