A lot of fun. It's a shame there are only 2 full-fledged Dead Rising titles and some spin-offs.

But it's probably for the best. I imagine that if they got to the point where they made a fourth one, it would be shitty, dumbed-down normie-bait full of dead memes and barely resemble the series it came from.

Although the Off the Record spinoff of DR2 was pretty fun to play.
Its like Zelda Master Quests.
Everything is the same but things are different.

It's a pretty quirky series but they're both good. The survivor AI in DR1 is pretty braindead and you really need to babysit them but aside from that they're all around an interesting and unique experience.

3 is pretty okayish. It's a bit on the easy side, and you can power-up your character to levels way beyond 1 or 2. But it has some cool boss designs, and some fun moments in there.

Let me put it like this: Whenever I finished DR1 or 2, I couldn't wait to do another run through with different objectives. DR3 is so lenient on time and makes your character so powerful that there was nothing left for me to do on my second run except play on "Nightmare Mode" to try and get the Mega Buster weapon.

It's fine if you just want to kill zombies with a posse of survivors and see some crazy (albeit easy) boss battles, but a lot of the original charm is gone. Don't play 4 under any circumstances, it's garbage that removed everything that made the series what it was.
