the 3 metroidvanias are pretty decent

playing ghost trick on ipad, not my style of game, but its good.

Also rhythm games like EBA or Rhythm Heaven can be pretty fun

Years ago I had this game and could never get past the stupid level where you go to get water and try to run away so I never got far in the game. Tried it again a year or so ago when going through some of my old ds games, only to end up beating it but then turning off my ds without saving. The game looked really comfy though too bad I'll never have the motivation to play it again

Explorers of time is a slightly improved version of explorers of time and darkness.

The Pokemon ranger games are good but not as memorable as the MD games imo.

I would actually recommend playing red and blue rescue team, the story is great and the game much more challenging, trying to beat magma cavern gave me PTSD.

I'm playing Super Mystery Dungeon right now and I also highly recommend it, they actually managed to introduce a couple of items and mechanics which are all nice additions to the base mystery dungeon formula.

I actually haven't played any other entries in the SMT series because the exploration mechanics kind of turned me off; if the 3DS remake gets localized I will definitely check it out.

Also the Etrian Odyssey titles are very fun too, particularly the third game.

Explorers of Sky is a top tier game, and Super Mystery Dungeon was also really good, the only bad PMD game is Gates to Infinity

Spent hours upon hours slowly but steadily going for 100% on my old NDS

as much as I love explorers of time the gameplay is pretty boring, however the story, visuals and soundtrack of the game are really good and make it worth playing

I really need to buy a flashcard and explore that library a bit more, TWEWY is unironically my favourite game.
