With age however, the Sauruses, like Dragons and Vampires, become stronger while their scales become denser and harder.

Not knowing the exact size of the map, it's a safe bet to assume it'll be about the size of the original. It'll have 4 factions as opposed to the "5" the original had at launch. Remember it had 4 and then Chaos as free DLC if you pre-ordered or got the game in the first week.
It's a standalone expansion in that while the map and the factions are new, it's the same, untweaked engine with the same gameplay sans faction and unit specific stuff.

Skaven are funny because, despite of being hilariously overpowered, they always fail miserably.

They have everything going for them but their own incompetence keeps them from ever achieving anything.
