It just died... It won't turn on or shut off right, gives error messages and freezes.

I've never had a system stop working on me before, I still have my fucking super Nintendo. I did play the fuck out of my PS4 though.

I should add that it will turn On, but it takes like 5 minutes to load and then won't connect to psn and won't let me start anything until I update it also won't read disks.
It was working yesterday too, I really think it's just dead.

I didn't even know there was a new update, I have it all set to auto update overnight. I used to be more on top of this shit a few years ago, been too busy lately.

It'll be 5 years old next year. If they pull a PS3 who knows when their next console will come out, but if they go back to their other release schedules, we could be seeing a PS5 either next year or in 2019.
