The "choices" are mostly just tailoring your experience in terms of which characters you bond with, and which ones you butt heads against.

But in terms of "choices mattering", seasons 2 and 3 both have multiple endings that "matter".

Season 2's choices will affect Clementines attitude in season 3, as well as some minor aesthetic differences. Clem may have scars or other injuries.

Season 3's choices leave certain members of Javier's family dead or alive, and it's unclear if this is going to affect anything going forward.

Mostly though, the reason people like the games is because of the time invested bonding with characters, and most of all Clementine. If you're going in hoping to see radical gameplay and story changes, then it probably isn't for you. If you want character driven drama that will slightly tweak around which characters you seem to like/dislike, then give it a chance, you will probably enjoy it.

Then picking a longer cut could have been the catalyst for a zombie grabbing her and teaching her the hard way in the next season.

That's the kind of shit I would have liked to see regarding choices having consequences, but alas.

Not that I am a "game sucks because choices dont matter"-fag, I just think they could have played with the hairstyle idea more, because it is a good way to have the player bond more with Clem, and also see how a choice they made matters throughout their entire experience of the series.

That's the exact problem though. They should be threatening, always. They used to always be threatening.
