1 is designed just right.

2 is a good sequel, levels dont have much destructable enviroments bt are well designed.

X changed some bosses for no discernable reasons, guess they wanted to justiffy the upgrade with something other than fixing the slowdown. At least they got concept art in the credits.

3 is good but has too much trite that goes on for too long, i'm talking about that slug flyer and space rocket missions.

What's wrong with everything after 3? I played 4 and it just seemed like more Metal Slug.

I've seen 6 being played for a few minutes though. Visually, it looked like ass. The environments really clashed with all the old pixel art (which they made really blurry for some reason), I think they used 3D models for all that stuff in the background
