Last time I played this there were environmental units you needed to equip to hang out on certain planets. So unless you mean that kind of gear explicitly, then yes.

You could hardly say their addition to the game had any impact at all as you can be one and summon a few with western-themed furniture but do literally nothing else relating to the Novakids or see any effect they might have on the universe.

That being said Westerns always make things better and star-cowboys flying space trains is pretty fucking cool

Starbound really had fuck all content. Sure it's nice all furniture pieces has half a paragraph of text and all items have a stupid witty comtent but where's the fun? And the hamfisted story killed all forms of roleplay, also it fucking sucks. Terraria's miniscule story is much better imo.

I liked Starbounds exploration and spess aspects way more than anything in Terraria, as well as found it running more smoothly, but then Chuckle removed complexity and I stopped caring
