Your pictures and music files should be fine if you just move those. If you want to try and clean up the other laptop then move the files you want off of it and then do a fresh install would be the easiest way. If you don't want to do that then look into Rkill, CCleaner, and some anti-malware scanners like Malwarebyes.

Look into the Low Spec Gamer on Youtube to see if there's any other tweaks you can do. I think he did a video on Nier but I'm too lazy to look it up right now.
