With optimization and sacrificing high-end effects, it could probably run at 720px60fps without major problems.

IF it meant being able to play full fat darksouls wherever the fuck I pleased, I would be fine with locked 30fps.

People forget all too easily how powerful the Switch is.
Its like a PS3/X360, with the form factor of an ipad mini, with extremely sophisticated controllers.

It is well within the realm of the Switch to play any Current-gen AAA title at pared back Framerate and resolution, if correctly optimised.

Anyone with ~80+ hours of Zelda or who has gone 25/25 in horseback archery will attest that to master BoTWs combat you need to switch between sticks and d-pads on the fly.

Being able to pause combat to heal is only a feature because the game is designed for children, and likewise you can complete the game using only rudimentary combat techniques without fully utilizing archery and camera locking and weapon switching.

My first 2-3 hours were awkward until I got used to a decent grip position, because of my large hands, but there is no problem with the Switch's control layout.

Keeping in mind that there is no other portable gaming system with a full controller layout (PS Vita doesn't have two shoulder buttons each side) and that the device is intended for the hands of children, Nintendo did well to cater for a large audience.

And the Switch controller grip is actually quite comfortable to use while my Switch is charging.
