Keep in mind I played it like 6 years ago but if I remember correctly, the game is about this one girl who got a little bit bullied by her classmates and she found a weird book, so she decided to curse her classmates but it backfires and sends her to a maze in hell, she has no memories and there's this little sprite called Ritz who helps her thorough the maze, she ends up defeating the 7 princes of hell because she needs some runes or something so she can go back to her world but turns out, Ritz was just using her so she could get the runes for him and they fight and she wins.

Well turns out, she died thousands of times in the maze because the literal lords of hell are not very fond of little girls and realistically speaking she shouldn't be able to defeat them and it was literally flukes all the time, except for the fight with Ritz, where she got help from the shadow people who is supposed to be us, the players, I think.

Anyway, Ritz tells you that you fucked up, your whole family is dead, and the level where your house is turned into a hellish nightmare was real and Ritz just lied to you, (that woman in the pic you replied to, is your mom and she was literally eating your little sister). Finally Ritz, being salty as fuck because he lost to a 12yo girl, gives back all the pain suffered thorough all the deaths you suffered and to rub some more salt to the wound, tells you that you'll have a chance to leave around the time the universe is ending becase 1 second in the hell maze is like 1 year in the real world.


Full of suffering and asspulls if you ask me.

I'm pretty sure that's the case, conquering the maze is part of the summoning ritual, which is why Ritz is willing to glue Sakuri back together as many times as it takes so long as she doesn't give up. But having been utterly fucked up by the end of the game Sakuri prevents the completion of the ritual and Ritz basically has to cut its losses "wait for the next suitable one to arrive" ie the next person to attempt the ritual.
